Integrations

Works with the stack you already run

MSOOCast connects through open standards first, so most systems integrate without custom work. Each category below lists the method and examples of systems that connect that way.

  • Ad servers

    VAST 4.x and VMAP

Edge Splice requests ads with standard VAST and stitches the creatives it returns. Your existing ad server keeps its line items, targeting, and reporting.

    • Google Ad Manager
    • Other VAST-compliant ad servers
  • Programmatic demand

    OpenRTB 2.6

Moment Exchange sends pod-aware bid requests to SSPs and DSPs that support CTV, with SupplyChain and content signals included.

    • SSPs with CTV ad pod support
    • DSPs buying through private marketplaces
  • Encoders and contribution

    SRT, RIST, MPEG-TS, SCTE-104

Hardware and software encoders send live feeds and receive break requests. Venue, studio, and production-truck encoders all connect the same way.

    • Broadcast hardware encoders
    • Software encoders
    • Cloud contribution gateways
  • CDNs

    HTTP origin, multi-CDN

Network Fabric acts as origin for one or more CDNs and steers traffic by health. Bring your own CDN contract or use ours.

    • Major commercial CDNs
    • Your existing CDN agreement
  • FAST and distribution platforms

Platform delivery specs: HLS or DASH plus EPG

Each platform receives the stream format, marker style, and program guide feed it specifies. Carriage agreements stay between you and the platform.

    • Samsung TV Plus
    • The Roku Channel
    • Pluto TV
    • Tubi
    • LG Channels
    • VIZIO WatchFree+
  • Operator headends

MPEG-TS over UDP multicast, SRT, or RIST

Channels and ad-inserted feeds hand off to cable and IPTV headends with SCTE-35 intact for downstream insertion.

    • Cable and IPTV headends
    • Regional hubs
  • Hospitality systems

    On-site edge node

An edge node at each property feeds the in-room IPTV or RF system maintained by your hospitality integrator.

    • Hospitality IPTV systems
    • RF over coax headends
  • Content protection

    CPIX key exchange

Packaging requests keys from your DRM service for subscription content.

    • Widevine
    • FairPlay Streaming
    • PlayReady
  • Identity and access

    SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect

Single sign-on and group-based roles from your identity provider.

    • Okta
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • Google Workspace
  • Monitoring and alerting

    Webhooks and email

Alerts for stream health, cue errors, and destination status go to the tools your on-call team already uses.

    • Slack
    • PagerDuty
    • Any webhook endpoint
  • Data and reporting

    Reporting API and scheduled exports

As-run, ad delivery, and session data export to your storage or warehouse for billing and analysis.

    • Cloud object storage
    • Data warehouses
    • BI tools
  • Measurement

    VAST tracking and OM SDK

Impressions and quartiles fire from the server or the player; OM SDK is supported where the player integrates it.

    • Third-party verification vendors
    • Advertiser ad servers
